Privacy Policy

Obsidian Funnels LLC (a New Mexico, USA limited liability company), trading as Pinelet ("we", "us"), respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What we collect
- Order details: name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, items purchased.
- Payment details: handled directly by our payment providers (e.g. Stripe). We never see or store your full card number.
- Website usage: pages viewed, device and browser information, IP address, and cookie or pixel identifiers.
- Communications: emails and messages you send us.
Why we collect it
- To process, ship and support your order (including warranty and returns).
- To send order confirmations, shipping updates and service messages.
- To prevent fraud and keep our store secure.
- To measure and improve our advertising and website, including through tools like the Meta Pixel and Conversions API.
- To send marketing emails, only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Who we share it with
We share only what's needed with trusted providers who help us run the store:
- Payment processors (e.g. Stripe).
- Warehouse, fulfilment and delivery partners (e.g. Australia Post (tracked)) to pack and deliver your order.
- Email, hosting and analytics/advertising providers (e.g. Meta Platforms).
Some of these providers may store or process information outside Australia (for example in the United States, Europe or Asia). We take reasonable steps to ensure they handle it in a way consistent with the APPs. We never sell your personal information.
Cookies and pixels
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, understand how the site is used and measure our ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work properly without them. You can manage ad preferences in your Meta account settings.
Security and retention
We protect your information with secure (HTTPS) connections, restricted access and reputable providers. We keep order records for as long as required for tax, accounting and warranty purposes (generally up to 7 years), then delete or de-identify them.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@getpinelet.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
If you have a privacy complaint, contact us first and we'll do our best to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
